Ranging from 5773 to 6662 yards, our par 72/73 Championship Golf Course sports 18 distinctive golf holes which are all challenging and a pleasure to play. Our three sets of tees give golfers of many ability levels a course that is well suited for their game. When you come to "Smith" be prepared to play holes that are uphill, downhill, short, long, straight, or dogleg and don't discount the wind. Large and undulating greens require a good read and a confident stroke.

Golfers who are looking to play a short and sporty layout may want to tee it up at the Town of Fairfield's South Pine Creek Par 3 Golf Course. The Par 3 sits a few hundred yards from the edge of Long Island Sound and will provide you with a fun and relaxing round of golf.

We invite you to visit Alexander's Golf Shop where all players will sign in prior to play. You can shop for tees, balls, and find the latest in golf equipment (including demo clubs) and apparel. Information regarding Golf Instruction is available also in the shop as well as at the range and we encourage you to check into the full range of instruction offered by the experienced golf professional staff at H. Smith Richardson Golf Course.
Residents (i.d. required for reduced rates) and non-residents alike
can enjoy a round of golf at H. Smith Richardson Golf Course seven days a week during the golf season. Individuals and groups are encouraged to call or stop in at the Golf Shop to arrange tee times during the active summer months. The golf staff will arrange play for single players - simply sign in with the Starter at the first tee when you arrive, purchase your green fee in the golf shop and the Starter will arrange a pairing for you.

GOLF ID’s, SEASON PASSES, NON-RESIDENT

Golf ID’s, Season Passes, and non-resident season passes are now on sale at the Fairfield Parks and Recreation Office on Mill Plain Road. They are open from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Please note that cash can only be accepted on Monday-Friday. Weekend purchases must be made via credit card. ID’s and passes may also be purchased at H. Smith Richardson Golf Course beginning March 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Automated Tee Time Information
     for H. Smith Richardson GC and S. Pinecreek Par 3

Fairfield Residents with a valid Golf ID and Season Pass Holders may access the automated systems starting at 5:00 a.m. seven days in advance. All others may access the automated systems starting at 9:00 a.m. seven days in advance. A credit card will be required to secure a tee time but will not be charged except in the event of a no show.
